SpotterRF C550 and C550EXT perimeter surveillance radars

The SpotterRF C550 models (C550 and C550EXT) of perimeter surveillance radars use the same technology as the C40 models, but have increased capability, providing the same level of coverage as fifty fixed thermal cameras.

Thanks to their light weight, these perimeter security radars can be placed on different structures, including trees, poles and fences. The C550 security radars have little consumption of less than 10 Watts and can be connected to existing Ethernet networks with Power over Ethernet switches. Being mid-range perimeter surveillance radars, the C550 models are suitable for larger areas such as ports, water-processing plants, borders, wharfs, bridges, docks and dams.

The C550 perimeter security radar can track targets at ranges of up to 850 meters and covers an area of up to 550,000 square meters.

The C550EXT perimeter security radar is an upgrade version of C550 with extended range of 950 meters a coverage of up to 813,000 square meters.

Perimeter security systems with even more extended range are represented by long-range perimeter surveillance radars.
